The accounts to 31st December 2024, show donations of £52,067 (2023: £56,998) were received, of which £25,400 related to unrestricted funds and £26,667 to Commandery accounts. The World Leprosy Appeal 24 for The Leprosy Mission project in Batticaloa Sri Lanka raised £25,041 being contributions from members £14,960, Commanderies £6,590 and Gift Aid £3,491 reclaimed from HMRC.
Gift Aid reclaimed from HMRC amounted to £5,126 (2023: £5,973) to unrestricted funds including £3,491 (2023: £3,469) collected on World Leprosy Appeal donations, and a further £5,138 (2023: £3,246) to Commandery accounts.
Two legacies were received amounting to £5,712 (2023: Nil) during the year.
Investment income of £18,451 (2023: £20,180) was received. This was down on the previous year as some funds were utilised to pay charitable grants.
Charitable Grants and donations, including Commandery Grants and donations amounted to £108,063 (2023: £101,058), including £20,759 distributed from Commandery accounts.
